What makes an artwork contemporary? What makes it tick, and what makes it iconic? Reflecting on the evolution of contemporary art, this one-of-a-kind event, which will be held from October 19th to 27th, 2024, at Dwija Art Gallery, Bangalore, will take visitors through a curated walkthrough from the past to the present.

 The event, led by artist Devajyoti Ray, also campaigns for art that can not only reflect but also foster positive social change.

The 10-day event will host an exclusive art show featuring 26 artworks meditating on contemporary art and thought. It will also feature a series of Keynote Addresses on the emerging 21st-century trends in creative aesthetics and morals, particularly with reference to India.

Devajyoti Ray, pioneer of Pseudorealism – the 21st century art style, that blends the real and the fictitious into a seamless visual experience, showcases for the first time in Bangalore a series of 26 artworks in multiple mediums, that takes us into a magical journey through our times and ideas that shaped our art through the time.
